About the Company:

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for on call support to assist a range of facilities in Sydney's CBD and surrounding suburbs. The majority of work occurs on weekdays and during the day and afternoon, and can range from 1 to 5 shifts per week, depending on the facilities needs, with a rate of pay of $45 - $50 per hour. There may be a need to work in the evenings and/or weekends.

Successful applicants must have their first coronavirus jab, flu vaccination and negative test within the last 72 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering medication, wound care and other treatment options
  • Observing and recording patient behaviour
  • Counselling participants and their families
  • Educating participants about treatment plans, etc

Skills and Experience:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 1 years experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Evidence of Flu vaccination
  • Evidence of first coronavirus jab
  • Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Completed Infection Control Training - COVID19
  • Must have own drivers licence and transport
