The Role:

UHC are seeking Registered Nurses to partner with a range of Aged Care Facilities based in the North Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

There are requirements in the morning (6:00-15:00), afternoon (14:00-23:00) and night (22:00-7:00), Monday through to Sunday. Please note that shift times can alter.

The role is a casual ongoing nature which means no end date in sight.

We are offering the following pay rate:

• Day shift $41.85 per hour
• Evening shift $46.04 per hour
• Night shift $46.87 per hour
• Saturday shift $62.78 per hour
• Sunday shift $73.24 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administering medication and monitoring the effects
• Assessing and monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of residents
• Collaborating with other health care professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Communicating with families and other caregivers to keep them informed of the resident's condition
• Managing and overseeing nursing care procedures, restorative care, safe behavioural management, and health emergency responses
• Following clinical policies and procedures and providing leadership in infection control and disaster situations
• Provide leadership and supervision to ENs and PCA/AINs

Skills & Experiences:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current National Police Clearance (within 36 months)
• Current Blue Card / Working with Children Check
• Current Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
