About the Role
Frontline Human Resources (FHR) is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a current Forklift Licence to join our client's large-scale manufacturing site in Somerton.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation with over 200 employees, operating in a modern, safe, and state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating slitting machinery, loading materials, and moving pallets within the production area.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate slitting and label-printing machinery safely and efficiently (Training is provided)
- Load raw materials into machines using a forklift.
- Move finished pallets and materials across the production floor.
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organised workspace.
About You
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, ideally within label printing or packaging.
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) - essential.
- Experience operating slitting or converting machines is highly regarded.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a genuine team player.
- Able to work the afternoon shift - 3PM to 11PM.
