Our client is a well-respected regional business that provides quarrying, mining and concrete services throughout the eastern states and employs approximately 150 people. We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced WHSE Coordinator to join our team. This role will be based in Griffith / Leeton NSW.
Reporting to the WHSE Manager, the WHSE Coordinator will provide a high level of coordination and support to all operational sectors - conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits and inspections to identify and support safety improvement activities whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislative obligations. This is a hands-on role promoting and supporting a strong health, safety and environment culture across our workforce.
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills
- A current class C Drivers License
- Relevant Qualifications (Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety) or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of WHS & Environmental Legislation
- Proficient Computer Literacy
- Operating Knowledge of Heavy Plant and Equipment
