About the role:
We are currently hiring Disability Support Workers to support a 19-year-old participant based in Tambar Springs, NSW. Our participant is living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and experiences challenges with memory, following instructions, problem-solving, and planning.
Support is required from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Pay rates are:
- Day Shift - $38.75 p/h
- Afternoon Shift - $42.63 p/h
- Saturday Shift - $54.25 p/h
- Sunday Shift - $69.75 p/h
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the participant to attend appointments, including GP visits and a structured gym program
- Assisting with routine development and regaining independence
- Engaging the participant in activities of daily living such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Providing encouragement, direction, and consistency to support their day-to-day function
- Promoting community access and social engagement

Skills & Experiences:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
- NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication" module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong English communication skills
- Positive attitude, reliable, and flexible
