About the Role:

We are currently looking for Support Workers to assist one of our participants located in Branxton, NSW. Our participant is a very independent lovely male who has a spinal cord injury and requires assistance around the home and accessing the community, particularly the gym. The participants ideal candidate is reliable, proactive and also interested in fitness (preferable but not necessary).

Our participant requires support in the mornings.

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes:

• Wednesday 0900-1130
• Friday 0800-1030

Pay rates:

• Day Shift - $40 p/h

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care duties
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Community access
• Assistance with daily Health & Rehab exercises
• Assistance with meal preparation

Skills & Experiences:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries and complex behaviours
• Australian Drivers Licence and insured Vehicle is a MUST
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
