Disability Support Worker

About the Company:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
The participant is a male in his mid 50's with a traumatic brain injury who requires support Mon - Sun. This role is on a casual on-going basis.

Available shifts:
Approx shifts.

Mon 1pm - 6.30pm

Tue 7am - 1pm

Thu 1pm - 6.30pm

Fri 7am - 1pm

Rates

• Day - $40 per hour
• Saturday - $56 per hour
• Sunday - $72 per hour
• Travel - $0.99 when travelling to appt with participants

Duties

• Assistance with personal care/showering etc
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments
• Family assistance
• Assisting with animals

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver License
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication certificate
