About the Role
We are currently seeking an Automotive Electrical Trade Assistant to join our client's team based in Dandenong. This role offers a great opportunity to work alongside qualified Auto Electricians, assisting with the installation, wiring, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems across a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Auto Electricians with the installation and maintenance of automotive electrical systems
• Carry out wiring harness assembly, lighting installation, and component testing
• Support with fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
• Perform general mechanical and electrical fit-out tasks on vehicles
• Operate hand, power, and diagnostic tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
• Complete basic administration and record keeping for daily tasks and parts used

About You

• Previous experience as an Automotive Electrical or Electrical Trade Assistant (preferred)
• Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems and components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
