About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a female participant based in Bilinga, QLD, who has recently sustained a spinal cord injury.

The participant is expected to be discharged from hospital in approximately four weeks, and we are now building a dedicated support team to provide consistent, high-quality care upon her return home. Introductions and training will be facilitated at the hospital prior to discharge to ensure a smooth transition and strong team collaboration.

Support Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Sunday
• Shifts: Morning (6:00am - 10:00am) and Afternoon (1:30pm - 6:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Autonomic dysreflexia management
• Catheter and bowel management
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Manual handling - use of sling hoist and transfers
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $4.00/hour
• Saturday shift: $56.00/hour
• Sunday shift: $72.00/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
