About the Opportunity
They are currently seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to lead a key production line at their manufacturing facility in Girraween. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across your team and processes. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring production targets are met, the team is well-supported, and operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards
  • Monitor and optimise production output, quality, and efficiency
  • Oversee adherence to SOPs and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the line
  • Maintain strong communication and foster a culture of accountability

About You
You're a proven leader in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to motivate teams, improve processes, and maintain a sharp focus on safety and quality.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a production leadership role
  • You are skilled in People Management
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Experience implementing SOPs and driving lean/CI initiatives
  • Solid communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality
  • Experience in the building products industry is advantageous
  • Relevant qualifications in production or lean manufacturing are desirable
