The Roles
Vehicle Assemblers, Automotive Assemblers, Automotive Trade Assistants
- Assemble bus and coach body components
Fit, install, and secure structural, interior, and exterior components according to Client's build specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim installation tasks
Assist in the installation of mechanical systems, wiring looms, lighting, seating, flooring, and other key assemblies under supervision or direction.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Follow build plans, diagrams, and standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with production requirements.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the build process
Inspect completed assemblies, identify defects, ensure workmanship meets Client's quality standards, and report any non-conformances.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely
Use tools such as drills, rivet guns, grinders, and lifting equipment in line with safety procedures and workplace policies.
- Support workflow and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Work alongside fabricators, electricians, fitters, and production leaders to meet production targets and maintain efficient build timelines.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in one of the above roles
- Background in automotive, heavy vehicles, or manufacturing
- Confident with hand and power tools
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety conscious
- Trade qualification required for Auto Electricians
