The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client that specialises in the freight forwarding industry. This opportunity is located in the Mansfield area and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate high reach & counter balance forklifts to load, unload, and move freight within the warehouse and staging areas.
• Pick and put away pallets accurately in high racking systems following warehouse layout and safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily forklift pre-start inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with container unpacking and pallet consolidation for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of freight movements using RF scanners or manual paperwork as required.
• Follow all WHS procedures and contribute to keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.

Skills & Experience

• Experience operating a High Reach or Counter Balance Forklift essential
• Experience working in a warehousing environment
• Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
