Disability Support Worker

The Role: We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team in Tarragindi, QLD. This role involves assisting a 51-year-old female participant who has sustained acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities:

• Companionship
• Assistance with planning outings
• Assistance with rehab exercises
• Assistance and driving to community access

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes:

• 2-3 days a week between Monday to Friday: 9am to 12pm

Compensation:

• Day Shift - $40 p/h

Skills & Experience Required:

• Prior experience working with people who has acquired brain injury
• Australian Drivers Licence and insured Vehicle is a MUST
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Certificate 3 in individual support
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
