About the Role:

We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team to assist our participant in Bellbird, NSW. Our female participant in Bellbird, NSW. She has hearing impairment and sustained an Acquired Brain Injury in 2009. She requires assistance with her personal care, encouragement to do things/activities such as gardening, arts etc., and other daily domestic tasks.

This role is on an on-going casual basis, with shifts to commence ASAP.

Current Available shifts:

• Monday 1930-2130
• Wednesday 1930-2130
• Saturday 1930-2130
• Sunday 1930-2130

Payrates:

• Day Shift - $38.75 p/h
• Afternoon Shift - $42.63 p/h
• Saturday Shift - $54.25 p/h
• Sunday Shift - $69.75 p/h

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with personal care - e.g., showering, oral hygiene, hair care etc.,
• Assisting with domestic tasks, shopping, general tidying, cleaning, cooking, laundry tasks, etc.,
• Driving and assisting to doctors' appointment/community access
• Assisting in medication administration
• Daily skin checks

Requirements:

• Australian Driver License is a MUST
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current Working with Children's Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Experience in putting/changing Leg compression.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
• Medication Administration Training (must)
• Reliability with a proactive and positive attitude is very important to the participant
