IGU Machine Operator

Our client is currently seeking reliable and motivated IGU Machine Operators to join their production team in Rowville. This role is critical to the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacture of insulated glass units (IGUs) using a Lisec TPA line.

Available Shifts
- PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- AM Shift: Flexible start times
- 4:00am - 12:00pm or
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- AM pay rate $ 39.67 per hour
- PM pay rate $ $44.67 per hour
Must be available to work Saturdays
Flexible finish times & overtime required
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Lisec TPA line in line with SOPs and safety requirements
- Set up and adjust machine parameters for varying glass sizes and specifications
- Monitor spacer application, alignment, adhesion, sealing, and gas fill quality
- Conduct regular quality checks and identify defects
- Handle glass and IGUs safely to prevent damage
- Ensure correct curing times and A-frame loading limits are followed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Report faults, downtime, and quality issues accurately
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, maintenance, and team members

Skills & Experience
- Experience in IGU manufacturing or glass processing (preferred but not essential)
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence around automated machinery

- Ability to work to tight tolerances and deadlines
- Willingness to be cross trained across the production line
