Assembler / Process Worker / Factory Hand – Glass Manufacturer

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an Assembler / Process Worker / Factory Hand to join our client that specialises in the glass industry. This opportunity is located in Yatala and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and handle glass products, ensuring all quality standards are met
  • Pick, pack, scan, and prepare glass orders for dispatch
  • Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the site
  • Assist with glass assembly, packing, and wrapping for delivery or installation
  • Follow all site safety procedures, including correct PPE use
  • Perform general factory and housekeeping duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Factory Hand, Labourer, or Material Handler
  • Experience in the glass, manufacturing, or construction industries (preferred)
  • Experience in the glass industry (highly desirable but not necessary)
  • Experience picking orders whilst using pick sheets/pick slips
