The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for a Forklift Operator / Storeman to join our client that specialises in Supply Chain Optimization, Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Distribution & Express and Road Transport. This opportunity is located in the Port of Brisbane and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Your daily duties will consist of:   

• Loading and unload using a counter balance or high reach forklift from trucks and containers
• Restack, wrapping and break down of pallets
• Manual handling and heavy lifting up to 25kgs
• General warehousing duties
• Minor administration duties

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Must hold a current LF forklift licence
• Must have minimum 12 months high reach and counterbalance forklift experience
• Heat wrapping and container unloading experience highly preferred
• Must have full Australian work rights
