Frontline Human Resources are currently seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Coordinator to support safety initiatives across a national service centre network.
This role will work closely with the National HSE Manager and site leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation of WHS programs, risk management processes, and compliance with safety legislation across the business.

As the WHS Coordinator, you will provide administrative and specialised support to ensure the delivery of workplace health and safety initiatives across multiple sites. The position focuses on identifying safety improvements, supporting risk management processes, and assisting in maintaining a consistent and compliant WHS system.
You will work collaboratively with site managers, employees and external stakeholders to support safety programs and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.
Workplace Safety & Compliance
Support implementation of WHS policies, procedures and safety initiatives
Conduct regular safety inspections and identify hazards and risk controls
Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company protocols
Promote and foster a positive safety culture across operational teams
Risk Management
Assist in developing and maintaining Safe Operating Procedures, risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements
Support hazard identification, corrective actions and preventative measures
Assist with safety programs including PPE management and safety systems
Training & Inductions
Coordinate WHS inductions and training for employees, contractors and casual staff
Maintain safety training records and competency assessments
Identify training gaps and assist with development of safety training tools
Incident Management
Support the investigation and reporting of incidents, hazards and near misses
Assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Prepare safety alerts and reports when required
Injury Management & Return to Work
Assist with injury management processes and claims coordination
Support the development of return-to-work plans for injured workers
Reporting & Systems
Prepare monthly WHS reports and safety performance data
Assist with maintaining WHS reporting systems and documentation
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a Workplace Health & Safety or HSE role within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
Ability to work autonomously while supporting multiple stakeholders
Desirable:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or WHS related qualification
Experience with WHS reporting systems or contractor management platforms
Work with a well-established national organisation
