The Role
FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Machine Operator to join our client that specialises in the Windows & Doors industry. This opportunity is located in Girraween and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate saws, presses, and other automated or semi-automated machinery to cut, shape, and form metal components according to production specifications.
- Conduct accurate measurements, visual checks, and quality inspections of metal parts to ensure they meet required tolerances, product standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Set up machines for daily production, adjust tooling, and perform basic preventative maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and reporting faults to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, including correct use of PPE, safe machine operation techniques, hazard reporting, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Meet daily production targets, follow job sheets and work orders, record machine outputs, and communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth workflow across the manufacturing line.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a machine operator highly preferred
- Experience working with windows, glass or doors
- Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
