Fleet / Transport Allocator - Transport & Logistics

fhr Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of SE National, a well-established transport company supporting logistics and freight operations across Victoria and interstate.

This role suits someone who enjoys the fast pace of transport operations, thinks quickly, communicates clearly with drivers, and takes pride in keeping freight moving efficiently.

We are seeking a Fleet / Transport Allocator to join the operations team in Dandenong, working closely with the linehaul team to coordinate drivers, freight movements, and daily scheduling.

While transport or logistics experience is highly regarded, full training will be provided for the right candidate who is organised, confident with computers, and eager to build a career in the transport industry.

The Role

As a Fleet / Transport Allocator, you will play a key role in ensuring freight movements run smoothly and drivers are supported throughout the day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily driver schedules with the linehaul team
  
• Communicating with drivers via phone, email, and text
  
• Assisting with freight planning and load management
  
• Monitoring movements to ensure freight runs efficiently and compliantly
  
• Liaising with customers to support their freight requirements
  
• Maintaining clear and organised communication across the operations team
  

This role is office-based in Dandenong, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm.

Occasional travel to the Shepparton head office (weekly or fortnightly) will be required.

• Current driver's licence
  
• Transport or logistics experience highly regarded but not essential
