About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the health care field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
Our participant has a spinal cord injury and requires consistent, person-centred support. This role is ideal for someone who is not only highly skilled in complex care but also values building a respectful and supportive working relationship.
Key Responsibilities and Experience:
- Complex bowel care, including digital stimulation and administration of enemas
- Medication assistance, including safe and accurate administration
- Demonstrated experience in wound care
- Experience with insulin administration (highly regarded), or willingness to undertake training
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with domestic tasks and meal preparation
- Manual handling such as hoisting and transfers

- Ability to follow care plans and maintain participant dignity and independence
- Excellent communication skills
Skills & Experience
- MUST HAVE COMPLEX BOWEL CARE EXPERIENCE
- Australian Driver's License
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support minimum requirement
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module and NDIS Supporting Effective Communication module
- MUST HOLD A HLTHPS006 - assist clients with medication certificate or willing to obtain prior to commencing
