About the Role
We are seeking experienced Construction Trade Assistants for an immediate start with a well-known national company. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business with ongoing work available across commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified roofers and carpenters on site
- Support roofing installations, repairs, framing, and fit-out works
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Carry out measuring, cutting, lifting, and material preparation
- Install roofing materials, flashings, timber, and other construction products
- Complete general labouring, site clean-up, and material handling
- Follow site instructions and work to deadlines
- Maintain a safe and tidy worksite at all times
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Trade Assistant in roofing or carpentry
- Experience working on commercial construction sites
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to read measurements and follow plans/instructions
- White Card
- EWP, Working at Heights, and WWCC highly regarded
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
