We're seeking a Printing Team Leader to oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a team, manage workflow, and ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the printing department. You'll coordinate workflow, drive team performance, and ensure all production runs efficiently from start to finish.
You'll play a key role in maintaining output quality while continuously improving processes and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily printing operations and workflow
- Allocate and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and production targets
- Monitor and drive team performance against KPIs
- Coordinate daily team meetings and set clear plans of action
- Ensure all jobs are completed accurately, on time, and to quality standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime
- Operate and oversee printing equipment, including:
- Konica Minolta Press Machine
- Epson Surelab
- Sublimation
- Block Mounting
- Maintain equipment, including daily cleaning and calibration
- Coach, support, and develop team members
- Manage performance, address issues, and implement improvement plans where required
- Ensure compliance with WHS and workplace policies
- Report on production progress, issues, and team performance to management
About You
You're a strong leader with a hands-on approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a print production / team leader or supervisor role
- Strong understanding of printing processes and colour correction
- Experience managing KPIs and driving team performance
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Requirements
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to adhere to WHS and workplace policies
- Previous experience in printing and colour correction (essential)
- Working with Childrens check
- Police Check may be required
