Factory Operator / Storeperson

The Role

FHR currently have an opportunity for an experienced Factory Operator / Storeperson to join our client that specialises in the civil infrastructure and building industry. This opportunity is located in the Yatala and we an have immediate start available for the candidate who is successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery to manufacture reinforced steel products in line with production standards and safety procedures.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and other handling equipment, maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
• Follow workplace health and safety guidelines, including routine equipment checks and hazard reporting.
• Provide professional customer service by assisting with order enquiries, coordinating pickups, and ensuring customer requirements are met accurately and on time.

Skills, Licenses & Experience

• Valid drivers license
• Experience in dispatch, customer service, scanning, data entry
• Forklift ticket favourable but not required
• Crane experience highly favourable but not required
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
