About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced support workers for a 60-year-old participant in Laidley, QLD, who sustained a spinal cord.

We are looking for support workers to cover additional shifts that have been allocated to our client to help assist the current support team in providing the best care possible. This will be a Monday through to Sunday roster with the following shifts available: 7am - 9am and 6pm - 8pm.

Key Duties

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Manual handling and hoisting - use of sling hoist and transfers

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $42.50/hour
• Saturday shift: $59.50/hour
• Sunday shift: $76.50/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
