We are a rapidly growing organisation operating across the disability, healthcare, and blue-collar workforce sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.

Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a strong focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes including invoicing, receipting, debtor follow-ups, and reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable, supplier invoices, payment runs, and creditor reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records within MYOB, including bank reconciliations, journals, and general ledger maintenance
  • Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial schedules
  • Support cash flow monitoring and reporting activities
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Provide ad hoc finance and administrative support to the broader finance team

About You

  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
  • Previous hands-on experience across AR, AP, and bookkeeping functions
  • Strong MYOB experience is essential
  • High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and data accuracy skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience

Experience working with NDIS receivables, including plan management billing, claim submissions, and reconciliation of NDIS portal payments, will be highly regarded.
