Frontline Human Resources (FHR) is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national photography business seeking an Operations Manager to lead its Tasmania branch. This hands-on leadership role combines operational management with professional photography, offering the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, business performance, customer experience, and creative work.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the branch, ensuring operational excellence across photography, production, customer service, and sales. You will also attend client sites to deliver professional photography services and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day branch operations, including staffing, performance management, and compliance
- Drive KPI performance across photography, production, customer service, and sales activities
- Deliver professional photography services at client sites to a consistently high standard
- Manage budgets, reporting, and financial performance in collaboration with the Finance team
- Build and maintain a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
- Oversee workplace health and safety compliance and promote a safe working environment
- Manage stock levels, equipment maintenance, and company assets
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and business performance
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of operational leadership skills and a genuine passion for photography.
You will have:
- Proven experience in operations management, branch management, or service delivery leadership
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Sound financial and commercial acumen, including budget management experience
- A genuine passion for photography with the ability to deliver professional-quality images
- Photography experience in commercial, portrait, event, studio, or similar environments
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- A current Driver's Licence
- A current Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one
- Police check
