High Reach Forklift Operator

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced High Reach Forklift operator to join our client in Yatala who specialises as a distributor of commercial and industrial textiles, hardware, and manufacturing consumables. This opportunity has immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently to put away, replenish, and retrieve stock from racking locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using scanning systems to meet daily dispatch deadlines and quality standards.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring all freight is secured, checked, and staged correctly for dispatch.
• Complete dispatch duties, including order verification, pallet wrapping, labelling, and preparing consignments for transport.
• Perform inventory movements, stock replenishment, and cycle counts while maintaining accurate warehouse records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse by following WHS procedures and conducting daily forklift safety checks.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

• Valid Forklift license with High Reach experience is essential
• Experience picking/packing along with scanning
• Container loading and unloading experience desirable
• Experience handling commercial and industrial textiles, hardware, and manufacturing consumables
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks
