Frontline Human Resources (FHR) will be celebrating another year of apprentice achievements, with the FHR Apprentice Awards & Graduation Night returning to the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday 23 October 2026.

The annual event brings together FHR apprentices, graduates, employers, industry partners and guests to celebrate the hard work and achievements of apprentices throughout their training.

For graduating apprentices, the evening is an opportunity to recognise the apprentices reaching an important milestone in their careers as well as the employers, trainers and support networks who have gone above and beyond in their journeys.

Recognising apprentice achievements

FHR has supported more than 2000 apprentices through employment and training opportunities, helping apprentices gain practical experience and valuable skils while working towards their qualifications across the trades.

FHR has also seen strong growth in apprentice completion rates, increasing from 62.2% in FY2024 to 90.7% in FY2026.

This year’s awards will recognise apprentices across nine award categories, celebrating their commitment, development, performance and contribution throughout their journey with FHR.

An evening at the MCG

Guests will enjoy dinner, an open bar and entertainment with comedian and television personality Dave Thornton confirmed as the evening’s MC.

Dave is known for his appearances on The Project, Spicks and Specks, Would I Lie To You? and Upper Middle Bogan.

The event is supported by FHR’s industry partners and sponsors;

Their support helps FHR continue to bring the apprenticeship community together and recognise the important role employers and industry play in supporting apprentices.
