Apprentice Boilermaker

FrontlineHR are looking to secure a Boilermaker apprentice for a valued host in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Frontline Human Resources are a national company with over 20 years of experience placing apprentices across a variety of industries into meaningful apprenticeships. Since 2001 we have hired and trained over 2,000 apprentices, matching them with work placements and companies large and small. Currently we employ over 250 apprentices across the business. FHR is highly regarded for producing some of the best and most highly skilled workers in Australia.

Our host is searching for apprentices who will demonstrate a willingness to learn, fit well with their existing team culture, and express genuine interest in building a future within their business post-apprenticeship.

Throughout the hiring process FHR will have a key focus on applicants that demonstrate good attitude, work ethic, and long-term intent, rather than purely technical proficiency.

If you are looking to gain experience or have had some experience in primarily medium to heavy fabrication and maintenance and repairs on trailers and prime mover modifications then this opportunity is for you.

As an FHR apprentice you will receive:

  • Strong on-site mentorship and safety standards
  • Exposure to a broad variety of work (repairs, fabrication, modifications)
  • Ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship
  • Accredited RTO/TAFE training
  • Reliable weekly pay
  • Extra tickets where applicable and training available


What you need:

  • Must have a reliable car and full license
  • Progress report on current course units (where applicable)
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a genuine interest in the trade and can show commitment and dedication to the apprenticeship
  • Ability to work to OH&S regulations
  • Take direction from supervisors and work as part of a team
