Apprentice Plumber 2nd, 3rd + 4th year

Our Adelaide GTO Branch is currently seeking apprentices who have commenced their plumbing apprenticeship to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for plumbing and be looking to gain experience across all aspects of the trade.

You will work with various Host Employers giving you a wide range of plumbing exposure in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Your Host will provide you with the best opportunity to get the most out of your Apprenticeship!

The successful applicant will have the potential to gain exposure in all six plumbing streams:

-Water supply including hot and cold water, solar hot water and recycled/rainwater supply

-Roofing including lockup, flashings, downpipes and roof maintenance work

-Sanitary work including fit off, sanitary fixtures and appliances, installation of sanitary drains and waste pipes

-Gas maintenance, installation and servicing of existing gas appliances gas and carbon monoxide testing

-Drainage including installation of below ground sewer and storm water drains, retention pits, sewage treatment systems and maintenance of drainage systems

-Mechanical including installation and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems specifically heating, ventilation, and cooling (HVAC) systems and installation of duct-work

Some key responsibilities for the role:

  • The ability to work to OH&S regulations
  • The ability to follow the Australian Plumbing Standards
  • Work with and communicate with other tradespeople
  • Be accountable for your work

Minimum requirements to be successful in securing this opportunity:

  • Current/valid drivers license
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical
