Key Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble portable switchrooms to project specifications and drawings
- Complete general carpentry, framing, fit-out and finishing work
- Assist with steel erection and structural assembly
- Install wall and roof cladding, including Colorbond products
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping
Essential Requirements
- Relevant Carpentry Trade Certificate
- Minimum two years' post-trade experience
- Demonstrated experience in steel erection, cladding and Colorbond installation
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to complete all required pre-employment checks, including Drug and Alcohol screening
