Customer Service Representative

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic team for a 12-month maternity cover role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to gain experience in the building and construction industry.

As part of their customer service team, you'll be responsible for servicing their residential builders, processing orders, entering services, and providing exceptional support. You'll also have the chance to interact directly with builders to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.

What's on offer:

• Casual ongoing role, 12-month maternity cover (with potential for permanent conversion)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Dandenong South Location
• On site parking
• Hourley rate $ 37.00 -$ 40.00 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert and enter customer orders accurately into our system
• Enter and manage service requests
• Respond to customer queries, providing solutions to any issues
• Work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Team Leaders to deliver high-quality service
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional approach to all customers and colleagues

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is highly valued
• Strong computer skills (SAP experience is a plus, but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with occasional pressure
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and an eagerness to learn
