Disability Support Worker

About the Company:

The Role:

Our participant is a 5 year old boy with ASD,ADHD who requires support in his daily activities. The successful applicant requires to have previous experience with children with ASD and ADHD, fit and willing to attend trips to the park and beach.

Available shifts:

Tuesday 3:30 pm - 9 pm / sleepover

Friday 3:30 pm - 9 pm /sleepover

Rates:

• Day - $ 43.75 per hour
• Afternoon - $48.12 per hour
• Saturday - $61.25 per hour
• Sunday - $78.75 per hour
• Sleepover: $60 plus 2 night hours
• .99c per KM for particpant related travel

Duties

• Assist with self care independance
• Assist with daily tasks and activities

Skills and experiences

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Administer medication
