About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support a male participant located in Greenbank, QLD 4124. The participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.

The participant requires support Monday through to Sunday, in the morning (7:00 AM - 11:30 AM) and evening (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene support
• Medication management
• Manual handling, including transfers and hoist use
• Complex bowel and catheter management
• Community access and participation in health and rehabilitation activities

Pay Rates

• Day shift: $40.00/hour
• Afternoon shift: $44.00/hour
• Saturday shift: $56.00/hour
• Sunday shift: $72.00/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
