About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to assist a female participant in Chinchilla, QLD. The participant sustained an acquired brain injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

The position is available immediately, with support required every Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (split shifts).

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Enteral feeding management (PEG)
• Mobility assistance
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Seizure management
• Manual handling - transfers
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude

Please Note:
Two current professional references are required as part of the application process.

Pay Rates:

• Day Rate: $43.00 per hour
• Sunday: $77.40 per hour
• Travel Allowance: $0.99 per kilometre (when travelling with the participant)
