Disability Support Worker

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker superstar,to work with two female participants based in Rockhampton, Qld.

This role is to assist our participants to attend rehab appointments, prompt and assist with domestic task and keep them on track to achieve her goals.

Shift Hours Participant 1

Monday: 9.30 am - 2.30 pm

Thursday: 9.30 am -1.30 pm

Shift Hours Participant 2

Tuesday 9 am - 12 pm

Wednesday 10.30 am - 1.30 pm

Friday 10:30 am -1.30 pm

Every second Sunday 10.30-12.45 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, washing & meal preparation.
• Community access + rehab appointments.
• Capacity building and Companionship.

Pay rate:

• Day Shift: $38.75 per hour
• Saturday Shift: $54.25 per hour
• Sunday Shift: $69.75 per hour
• Travel allowance: $0.99 per km (applied only when travelling the participant to and from medical appointments).

Skills & Experiences:

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current Nation am - al Police Clearance
• Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Certificate of Completion
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module - Certificate of Completion
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
