The Role:

Team Leader role

Highly skilled support workers required to assist 2:1 on a 24:7 based roster. Reliable, professional skilled workers need only apply.

Experience in peg feeding, non verbal cues, manual handling, incontinence assistance and stoma care are required, upskilling and training of other team members, stock take. Ability to follow instructions and direct other staff in an appropriate manner.

Shift times:

6 am - 2pm & 2 pm - 10 pm

Rates

• Day - $45 per hour
• Afternoon rate - $49.50per hour
• Night rate- $ 50.40 per hour
• Saturday - $ 63 per hour
• Sunday - $ 81 per hour

Duties

• Assistance with high care personal cares, incontinence assistance, bowel theraphy
• Assistance with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as transfers, hoisting and slide sheets
• Administering medication via peg
• Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments
• Peg feeding
• Training
• Stocktake
• Hydrotheraphy
• Daily schedule

Skills and experiences: Minimum requirement

• Australian Driver Licence
• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• HLTHPS006 assist with medication or willing to obtain
