About the Role

Unidex Healthcare is currently seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers to assist a male participant living in North Haven, NSW.

Our participant sustained a Spinal Cord Injury following a motorcycle accident and requires high-quality, person-centred support to maintain his daily routines and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care; washing, drying, dressing & grooming
• Assistance with bowel care (training will be provided)
• Catheter care (training will be provided)
• Hoisting/transfers
• Daily skin checks
• Pressure wound management
• Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, meal preparation & feeding
• Assistance with daily Health & Rehab exercises
• Community access + rehab appointments

Shift Details:
This role offers regular shifts from 8am-10am and 7pm-9pm Monday through Sunday, plus a Wednesday morning shift from 8am-12pm.

Pay & Incentives:

• Day shift: $40 per hour
• Afternoon: $44 per hour
• Saturday: $56 per hour
• Sunday: $72 per hour

Skills & Experiences:

• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Prior experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
• NDIS Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)
• Current NDIS Worker Screen check
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
