About the Role

Unidex Healthcare is seeking experienced and reliable Support Workers to assist a female participant located in Tamworth, NSW. The participant has sustained a spinal cord injury and requires high-complexity care within a shared family home environment.

Key Responsbilities:

• Provide assistance with personal care tasks
• Support with Peristeen Bowel Irrigation (training will be provided)
• Supporting health and rehabilitation exercises
• Monitoring and completing daily skin checks
• Assisting with domestic activities such as cleaning and meal preparation

Shift Details:
Shifts range from Monday to Sunday, between 0800 - 1000 and 1830 - 2030

Pay rates:

• Day Shift - $38.75 per hour
• Afternoon Shift - $42.63 per hour
• Saturday Shift - $54.25 per hour
• Sunday Shift - $69.75 per hour

Skills & Experiences:

• Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Prior experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
• NDIS Effective Communication Module
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)
• Current NDIS Worker Screen check
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
