About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a male participant based in Brighton, QLD, who is living with a spinal cord injury. We are building a dedicated support team to provide consistent and high-quality care.

Support Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Sunday
• Shifts: Morning (7:00am - 10:00am or 7:00am - 3:00pm) and Afternoon (5:00pm - 8:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Autonomic dysreflexia management
• Catheter and bowel management
• Medication management
• Skin integrity management
• Manual handling - use of sling hoist and transfers
• Community access + health and rehab appointment

Pay Rates

• Day shift $42.50/hour
• Saturday shift $59.50/hour
• Sunday shift $76.50/hour

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Australian Driver Licence
• Current Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Blue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
• Assist Clients with Medication HLTHPS006
• Third-party compulsory car insurance
• Two professional references
• A reliable, proactive, and positive approach
