Disability Support Worker

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the health care field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker based in Killarney for a male participant who is living with a Traumatic Brain Injury. These roles involve providing high-quality, person-centred support, including assistance with domestic assistance, and community access.

Our client requires support 7 days per week for 7 hours per day, with someone who can be flexible with the start and finish times to accommodate attending any necessary appointments.

Duties:

• Community access
• Assisting with attending hospital appointments across Warwick, Brisbane and Toowoomba
• Domestic assistance
• Medication prompting

Skills & Experience

• Australian Driver's License
• Certificate 3 in Individual Support minimum requirement
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue Card
• Current Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support effective communication module
