The Role
FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Vehicle Assembler / Automotive Assembler / Trade Assistant to join our client that specialises in the heavy vehicle industry. This opportunity is located in Eagle Farm (Brisbane) and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install structural, interior, and exterior vehicle components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim fitting tasks, including the installation of seating, flooring, lighting, wiring looms, and other key assemblies.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, build plans, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and compliance with production standards.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the build process, identifying defects, reporting issues, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment while adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production teams, including fabricators, electricians, and fitters, to achieve production targets and meet project deadlines.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in heavy vehicle assembly
- Confident using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Willing to undergo and pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent in attendance and performance
- Ability to provide two recent, contactable work referees to confirm employment history
