Industrial Cleaner / Commercial Cleaner

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced cleaner to join our client located in the Port of Brisbane. We have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across offices, amenities, meeting rooms, lunchrooms, and common areas in line with company and WHS standards.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to ensure a safe and presentable workplace.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, workstations, and furniture, including warehouse and operational areas where required.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly, including recycling and general waste, in accordance with site procedures.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and amenities, and report low stock or maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Follow site-specific safety procedures, including working around logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations while using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a cleaner (preferably commercial or industrial)
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment
  • Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
