Machine Operator / Production Operator

The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for a machine operator or production operator to join our client located in Brendale. We have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery to manufacture materials to commercial quality standards, conducting regular quality inspections as required.
  • Identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment or product faults to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Safely unload, move, and store materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
  • Actively participate in hazard identification and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and product quality.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and complete additional tasks as directed to support overall site operations.
  • Not required but a LF ticket/Forklift license is highly preferred for this role

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a factory hand, machine operator or production operator
  • Experience working with building materials (Gyprock, insulation etc)
  • Physically fit or experience working in a physically demanding role
