Metal Machinist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Machine Operator to join our client, based in Girraween, NSW. This is a full-time casual role, responsible for reading daily work orders, picking metal products and measuring required lengths of material, to specified lengths and machining them to customised requirements.

You will be an integral part of our client's production team, ensuring products are customised efficiently to flow through to the assembly process.

Full Australian Working Rights are MANDATORY for this position.

What you'll be doing

• Analysing daily work sheets for specifications of requirments.

• Ensuring that product selection is accurate in dimension, colour and product code.

• Machining metal products to customised requirements

• Coordinating with multiple assembly areas on product flow process

• Coordinating with Site Managers on any operation concerns that cause delays in a timely manner

What we're looking for

• Experienced machine operators (preferably metal based products) - Minimum 12 months

• Ability to read daily production schedules and understand dimensional requirments

• Excellent team collaboration

• Commitment and strong work ethic

• Available Monday to Thursday (6am to 2.30pm) and Friday (6am to 12pm)

• Excellent ommunication skills
