Key Responsibilities
- Excavate trenches using appropriate tools and equipment while ensuring correct depth and alignment
- Install drainage, stormwater and sewer pipes using correct joining methods and techniques
- Connect pipes to pits, manholes and inspection chambers
- Ensure correct grading and alignment for effective flow
- Backfill and compact trenches to required standards
- Work collaboratively with site teams to maintain workflow and productivity
- Follow all WHS procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Identify and report any site or installation issues
About You
- Previous experience in civil pipe laying (Drainage, Stormwater or Sewer)
- Strong understanding of pipe laying techniques and civil construction practices
- White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Reliable, motivated and safety focused
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Leading Hand experience highly regarded but not essential
