Process Worker

The Opportunity

Our valued client in Cobden is seeking an experienced and motivated Process / Mill Worker to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Mill Team Leader and working onsite, this is a key operational role that requires collaboration across all site teams. It's an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of their function and drive results within a supportive, high-performing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to Production and Inventory teams

  • Oversee and coordinate bulk bag packing, production, and distribution

  • Maintain stock control within the mill, including regular stocktakes and variance reporting

  • Uphold GMP standards across the warehouse and yard areas

  • Backfill operational roles as needed to ensure continuity

  • Monitor product quality and output consistency

  • Contribute actively to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives on site


What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Proven background in logistics, warehousing, raw material procurement, or team coordination

  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles with examples of practical application

  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools

  • Sound knowledge of warehouse inventory systems

  • A current forklift licence

  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of a hands-on operational role

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded. A strong commitment to safety and a proactive, team-oriented attitude are essential.


Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass a full medical including AOD Testing, online assessments, and site inductions

  • Full Australian working rights are essential
