Production Planner Required
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Planner professional to join our client Planning team on a casual basis, based in Dandenong South.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking for an immediate start.
About the Role
Reporting to the Pre-Production Leader, you will play a key role in supporting production planning activities, ensuring jobs are accurately planned, released, and maintained in line with production schedules. You will also assist with pre-production coordination and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the MRP system for planning and releasing production jobs across multiple facilities
- Plan, release, and manage production jobs to meet scheduling requirements
- Assign serial numbers and track job progress through to completion
- Assist with job closure and reporting processes
- Support fabrication planning and forecasting activities
- Coordinate in-house and outsourced production processes
- Assist with BOM maintenance across multiple sites
- Support pre-production and change management processes (PCRs)
- Provide general support to the Planning team as required
About You
- Previous experience in a production planning or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and material flow processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
