The Role
FHR currently have an opportunity for an experienced Programmer / Machine Operator (Brake Press/Turret Punch) to join our client located in Carole Park. We have immediate starts available for the candidate who is successful in their application for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up and operate Lantek software to generate CNC programs for turret punch and brake press machinery, ensuring accurate production of metal components.
- Operate CNC turret punch machines to manufacture sheet metal products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment, selecting the correct tooling and performing precision bending to required tolerances.
- Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks using measuring equipment to ensure all finished products meet company and customer specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and production schedules to prioritise jobs and achieve daily production targets.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot minor operational issues, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while complying with all workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience operating Lantek software for programming CNC turret punch and brake press machinery.
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC turret punching operations, including machine setup, tooling selection, and quality inspections.
- Demonstrated experience operating CNC brake press machines, with the ability to interpret drawings and produce accurate bends to specification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to ensure precision manufacturing.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
